Your website is finished. And you are clear about who you are and what your business offers. You may be blogging and posting on a regular basis. But you’re not getting visitors (traffic) to your site. I see this all the time. People invest all their time and money into having a website built. But they didn’t put in the time to promote their site while it was being created. And so all you hear is crickets once you do launch your website.
Do you remember that quote from A Field of Dreams? If you build it, they will come. Well, they won’t; it doesn’t work that way.
You need to FOCUS on and treat your website as if you walked into it every day. Your website is the most significant investment that you have created for your business.
When I say treat your website like you walked into it every day, that’s just what I mean. If you had a brick-and-mortar store, you would be out there driving traffic to your store, like promoting it like having a grand opening for your website the same as you would for your brick-and-mortar store.
